An 8-day, 7-night Kenya safari for two travellers, linking five of the country's best-known wildlife areas: the misty forests of Aberdare National Park, Samburu National Reserve in the north, Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the Laikipia Plateau, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara. You travel with a professional driver-guide in a pop-up roof 4x4 and stay in mid-range lodges and luxury tented camps with all meals included. Ol Pejeta is known for its rhinos and its chimpanzee sanctuary.

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by our representative (or picked up from your Nairobi hotel), meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing and drive to Aberdare National Park. You arrive in time for lunch and check-in, then spend the afternoon at leisure with game viewing from your lodge deck until sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and some leisure. In the afternoon head out on a game drive until sunset, then return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Spend a full day in Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including the rare northern species known as the Samburu Special Five: gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx. Cheetahs, lions and leopards also live here, and around 450 bird species have been recorded, including the lesser kestrel and the Taita falcon. All meals are served at the camp.
After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch and leisure, followed by a private afternoon game drive in the conservancy until sunset. Optional activities at Ol Pejeta are available at extra cost.
After breakfast, check out and stop at Thomson's Falls in Nyahururu, one of the highest-altitude major waterfalls near the Equator at over 2,360 metres. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a late lunch, then enjoy a game drive in the park before returning to your lodge for dinner.
After breakfast, check out and depart for the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at PrideInn Mara Camp. Spend the afternoon at leisure with a private afternoon game drive, then return to camp for dinner. You spend two nights here on a full-board basis.
Spend a full day in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands impala and Thomson's gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal. The Mara is the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and hosts vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra from July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland and many small mammals complete a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife. All meals and your overnight stay are at PrideInn Mara Camp.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive en route to a Maasai village, where you can experience the culture and traditions of the Maasai people, including traditional singing and dancing. Then depart for Nairobi, arriving in time for a farewell lunch. Your driver-guide drops you at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport in time for your flight home.
