Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by our representative (or picked up from your Nairobi hotel), meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive, check in and have lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, then head out on afternoon game drives. You spend two nights here on a full-board basis.
Full day in Amboseli
Spend a full day in the park on game drives, with picnic lunch boxes or a hot lunch at the lodge. Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya is known for its large elephant herds and its views of Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park's plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species, and the western section is dominated by Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Enjoy a private game drive until sunset, then return to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.
Tsavo West to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, check out and drive to Taita Hills with a game drive en route, arriving in time for lunch and check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure with game viewing from your deck until sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Taita Hills to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi with a game drive en route, arriving in time for a farewell lunch. Your driver-guide drops you at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport in time for your flight home.
